The angle of the axle has nothing to do with suspension geometry. It changes the way yhe power is delivered to the hub and direction of the power.

I still see no credibility of yours so at this point its really not worth arguing with you when I know 100% you are wrong.

Sorry I group axles into suspension and you can't look past my comment about geometry. There is still a point of lining the axles up and rotating the engine and trans assembly to line things up.

okay so you openly admit axles have nothing to do with suspension, great. But please explain where a mount that is same height as a stock mount, same size spacer is ARBITRARY compared to powell mount when it is one in the same?

qfe

I also don't recall you comparing the zzp to powell spacers from a dimensions standpoint.

but I do recall you saying zzp is just arbitrary spacing, when its the same as powell.

I don't understand this 'lining things up... the axles have 2 knuckles so any alignment being off I would think would be resolved. unless maybe this mount(s) puts the half shafts coming out of the trans & running along the block more directly over the wheel somehow improves the amount of grip you have. but then wouldn't it torque the passenger side engine mount and DS trans mount causing fatigue?

When it raises the rear of the engine and tilts it forward it brings the axles in line to where the power is distributed more lateral to the wheel. The knuckles really only change when the suspension moves. In this case youre changing the tilt of the axle by moving where the axles meet the transmission at the differential. On stock mount and no spacing the axles point upwards changing the direction of the force being delivered to the wheel in the z-axis

And the powertrain sits in one position more less with some flex naturally due to the mounts having some give but suspension is constantly changing so one way to bring the axles into line with the wheels is raising the point where the axles meet the transmission and a consistent way of doing so is rotating the engine forward and raising the rear of the engine (and transmission)

well. Updating you guys I guess. Left for a bit cause I was getting annoyed. Getting a 4.05 trans soon, 2nd grinds now. Gutted the rear out a decent bit, did end up taking out that insulation out where the seat was that you can see in the pics. Got new wheels too. Gonna gut it more and also want to get a z54 at some point. So far the k04r has been great on e85.

I bought it private party, no warranty. Makes for a cool shelf piece though.
