nOOB to oil catch can
nOOB to oil catch can
Guys you like my crappy drawing? I got a few questions i want to replace the stock set up wit a catch can and just use regular rubber hosing. Do i need that check valve? Is it even a check valve? Anyway if it is and i do need it could i get a regular check valve with hose connections on each end? I have the hahn intake and the connection is a pain in the ass thats what i want to try to make it all rubber hose. Thanks for the info guys.
....ugh how do i attach a .bmp?

Heres the pic:

You cant use regular rubber hose because oil will eat it. You need to use an oil/fuel rated hose, there are some specific PCV hoses out there, but trans cooler hose will work too.

So how i have it drawn out would work? Do i need the check valve thing?

The line coming from the intake pipe -> valve cover is the fresh air intake for the PCV system. You'll notice that check valve's flow direction is to the valve cover. So in short... its not causing you any grief right now.
If you're wanting to stop oil from coming in to the intake tract, the culprit is the line going from the VC to the turbo's compressor housing. I actually made a post not too long ago about my catch can setup:

I also have a Hahn intake and was having a bunch of drama keeping the check valve on. Switching that over to a rubber hose fixed all my woes... which you'll see in the pictures.
