Nothing in catch can?

Have an MPx catch can, installed about 6 months ago and do not have a drop of anything in it. I am just wondering how common this is... It is hooked up with one line to the turbo hosing the other to the back of the valve cover.

pictures of how it is installed will be helpful. As far as I know, you remove the PCV line from the valve cover and the intake tube. the oil catch can lines then connect the valve cover to the catch can and the catch can to the intake tube.

The orange line in this picture is the one that a few different threads said to use, and it's the one I use. The intake tube is just a fresh air source so no real oil going through there, or so I am told...

Not catching much is one thing, but this thing is completely dry like nothing at all has come through there...

I know it not catching anything is usually a good thing, I just wanted to make sure there isn't some weird issue with the MPx cans I don't know of... So the general consensus seems to be if its not catching anything, it will later?

Put a little bit of steel wool in there. If you're catching oil you will catch more. If you aren't catching anything you might start catching some.

I never actually got mine off. I ended up cutting the line at the valve cover and attached each of the rubber hoses to the braided lines. I cut it at the 90 degree bend.
