Oil Filter for 08' SS T/C

Hey Guys,

Forgive my ignorance... Is this the correct oil filter for the 08' SS? Pretty sure it is but want to double check.

http://www.knfilters.com/search/prod...x?Prod=HP-7000

Any recommendations where to get them cheap or brand preference is cool too.

Thanks.

You are incorrect. They cannot void your warranty for ether of those reasons. Now of you car requires synthetic oil you can use any synthetic that meets the standard.

Besides all that the GM acdelco(GM) filter is the best that i have used so far. Buy in bulk from CED they are cheap.

I did not sayin it will void it but if they want to they can if its related to not following manufactures specifications.. andi love mobil 1 anyways so i will not run anything else. I work for gm and i have seen it done and same if oil changes are abused and not done they cant prove that but thats why gm has maintenance record books wit ur owners manual.

I recommend (and use) the AC Delco PF457G from Advance Auto Parts or similar store. Believe it or not, it looked to be of the best quality out of K&N, Purolator (and PureOne), and Fram.

There is no point in talking to people like that. He is obviously new to this stuff so give him a break and don't run him off.

He is right though, just run buy a parts store tell them what car you have and they will give you the right filter, well most of the time

Driving to the parts store may not help you out, as the parts store did not have a part number for the t/c yet. I had to tell him what part number i wanted. He didn't believe that it would work and was very weary to give it to me.

Yup I knew this was a pretty dumb question anyways hence the "Forgive my ignorance" part.

But no seriously thanks for the encouragement... I'm not quite sure what your problem is, but I bet it's hard to pronounce.
