Oil in front of turbo inlet...

I figured this might be the better place to ask as there's more people here with intimate knowledge of the GTDI EcoTecs than on the Malibu Forums... I have a 2009 Cobalt SS Turbo and my girlfriend has a 2015 Malibu LTZ with the LTG (2.0 GTDI) engine. The fresh air intake for the crankcase on the Cobalt's LNF goes from the air inlet tube (behind airbox) to the camcover, and I installed the revised version. On the LTG, this hose goes from the air tube in front of the turbo inlet to a T line that goes to 2 separate PCV/valves on the cam cover. The factory service manual shows that air flows only 1 way for each of these valves, BUT the airflow is marked both ways for the hose going to the air tube / turbo inlet. This is unlike the LNF with the 1-way check valve.

I found a LOT of oil at the turbo inlet for the LTG... to the point it soaked the air inlet hose and would drip/pour out when I removed the tube. The LTG has 73k miles on it (2015) and supposedly had its oil changed regularly. I changed it last at 68k miles and it was about 2-3 qt low. With just 5k miles on Amsoil SS 5W-30, it was 1-1.5 qt low when I checked it.

It seems too early for the valve stem seals or piston rings to go bad. Any ideas? My LNF only has 8k miles on it so it's not the best example as the air intact track is bone dry.

Bad pcv can make it burn oil or push it into the intake like youre describing.
