Which One First???

OK, so i cant decide on what to get first. A tune or IC piping? I really want to get the tune first but im worried if i get the tune first my stock IC piping will break. So what im asking is, should i get the IC, first or Tune?

I would look into swapping your ECU first ... Its not as expensive as you might think . Then you can swap your stock at your own leisure ...

IC piping, set yourself up for before the tune rather than playing catch up, plus there are known issues with the stock IC piping as well

IC piping first. Not only would you no longer be running the risk of issues with the plastic, but you could take full advantage of your new configuration so you could get most out of your tune. I don't see any advantage of doing it the other way unless you just can't wait for a tune.

If you did the tune and then the IC piping, you'd have to probably end up getting re-tuned eventually anyway to "lock in" the changes the made with the IC piping if you wanted to get the most out of it.

Edit: Oops, didn't pay attention to the kind of tune. If it's canned, then the performance part doesn't matter as much. I might still go with the IC piping though because of its known issue though.

No issues yet with my IC piping...had a tune for over 1k miles....stock tubing still seems strong...not loose or anything. then again it is a common issue...
