OOOO, AAHHH Shiney
I think you are imagining things my friend that IC you have has nearly double the volume of the stocker and with our little K04 on there. It will take longer for the turbo to fill the IC which generally means more lag.
Tune is too lean to make more torque. 13.0 A/F is a little too lean IHMO for maximum power. Also I am sure timing tables are all stock and there is still all the torque management present.
Yeah, I found the point where going to lean and too much timing meet. Backed it down from there... and picked up a nice bunch of power.
Now to work on making the powerband more useful. And NO it doesn't spool quicker, in all honesty it's the same if not a little slower. (Just a little) our turbo doesn't need spool it could actually use a liittle lag. LOL
Terminator I am going to go and do some logs here in a bit!

That little bit of lag helps wheelspin some.
I swear to you that it spools a bit faster. I noticed a difference. Any yeah the only tune I have is the stage kit. Ill be driving up to Michigan in a couple weeks and 06black will be tuning my car. I should see around 315hp and 340 to 350tq. But your ic sure as hell looks good
BS. In a collision the Impluse (Force x Time) that changes the vehicle's momentum is always the same for the same momentum change. That being said, that little piece of steel that is called a crash bar increases the amount of time it takes for the vehicles momentum to change. The Impulse F(T) is the same but becuase the momentum change takes more time the resulting impact force is less. That lessened Force means your brain is less likely to accelerate into the front of your skull. Think about it. Simple physics.

Well small minor setback....
Intercooler is cooling just fine... saw just about 10* over ambient (Iat1 at 93* Iat2 was at 102*)
But for some odd reason I am getting SERIOUS knock... upwards of 10*... don't know why.
Tune has not changed, only addition is the intercooler: but why would it cause that?

Hope you get it figured out.
Yeah the car feels and pulls just fine.... I am hoping that is what it is...
Okay okay okay.... KNOCK is gone! Went back to stock timing for now to let the computer relearn itself.
But the intercooler is doing it's thing... UNDER WOT IAT2's were 104* with IAT1's at 86*

Dont compare iat2 to iat1, compare iat2 to ambient temps since that's whats cooling the intercooler. There should be an ambient temp sensor somewhere, hptuners will pick it up.
Ambient temp today was 86-85* (F)... Soo IAT1 was pretty damn near ambient! Thanks!
Car seems to be doing fine now.... We shall see, but for now no knock and SLLLOOOOWWWWWW (stock timing blows)
The car NEVER felt nor sounded like it was getting any knock. SO that leaves me to believe that it was "false"
But since I would rather have no FALSE knock either I backed the car down so it was doing good now!

Mine had 3* of KR after I added some mods. I think as you improve the systems volumetric efficiency it takes less time to burn the A/F mixture but I still am pretty certain that was false knock. you would have felt a large power drop like 30-40 whp or so if it was indeed pulling 11* of timing.
OKAY OKAY OKAY... update!
Apparently with aggressive tunes when you change the airflow post the MAF sensor the cars like to "FREAK OUT"
Soo I got that worked out, got timing added back up to 14* IAT2s were about 20* over ambient and 15* over IAT1's. SO the I/C is working properly!
No knock again, cars pulls hard once again! WOOT.
