well I can tell you now when you run open header on a cobalt 2.2 it is very annoying. Also no it wasn't me since open header doesn't do a whole lot except give you a ticket lol

Running open downpipe on a Non-turbo car is going to be very loud, raspy, and annoying sounding.

Running open downpipe on a Turbo car is totally different. It'll still be pretty loud... but it'll probably pop and gargle a lot and sound really sweet.

Open header SRT-4 sounds amazing... I'd be interested to hear a SS/TC with an electric DP cutout too!

an Electric cutout would be sick on the SS/TC. now that's a worthwhile mod.

by open downpipe do you mean just the downpipe and no cat back?

or by downpipe with just no catalytic converter?

i honestly dont think its going to sound awesome like an SRT4. The bigger the displacement of the motor the deeper and throatier the exhaust will sound. There is a sizeable difference between 2.0 and 2.4 motors.

Open downpipe is having your exhaust end at the downpipe... as in having no cat-back.
