Hey I was wondering if anyone has the LNF OTTP intake? and If so have you had any problems with it?

Everyones on the dislike ottp bandwagon and always has been. Its one of the newest intakes and I havent seen much reviews on it. But like everyone else said... KN SRI for the win haha

 

With the LNF youll want a tune for your intake

 

My car isn't tuned yet and I haven't had any problems. Youll eventually want to get a tune though, don't need it right away.

 

So many threads on fuel trims going crazy after intake installs on the LNF. That is why I said it.

 

I know I need a tune now, without the intake , i might as well wait a week and do them both. Thanks for the feedback guys!

 

hit and miss on intakes without tunes, i ran mine for a few months no problem without a tune.

 

I ran for a month on the K&N no issues. It's nothing against OTTP, but K&N's is a pretty solid design for our cars.

 

Im not worried about a tune considering I will probably have the intake for a week tops before the tune.


I am so used to VQ's in 350z's. KA's and sr20's in 240sx. Im still trying to find out what's best for this car. From what I am hearing,I ditched the ottp.

Yeah, it's really hit or miss like the guy said above. I've been lucky so far.

 

I didnt have a problem with the intake and I ran it without a tune for about 2-3 months

 

I bought my car with the only mod of Hahn intake. Sounds good. But can't really compare it to stock since I never had it on.
