ottp stg 2 mounts and ttr upper engine mount

just wondering if anyone has both of these installed on their car.

curious to know if its worth the upper engine mount considering how much the ottp stg 2 tranny mounts do for the car.

i just ordered the ottp stage 2's today

I asked them and they told me the upper motor mount on the pass side is fine, and no need to upgrade it at all.

i really would not recommend running a solid top mount with the ott rotated mounts. the whole point to the rotated mounts is to rotate the engine. now you are limiting it from rotating and putting a lot of stress on the passenger side engine mount bolts. the stock mount is all you need on the passenger side

I have the OTTP stg 2 lower mounts and stock upper mount... I have absolutely no wheel hop now, the tires just spin when the traction breaks loose. VERY easy to install too, almost took longer to jack the car up and down then it did to install them. I highly recommend them.

ok so basically your best bet is to just go with ONLY the OTTP stage 2 rotated mounts to cover any engine mount needs, at least at this point from whats available aftermarket?

please don't use solid upper mount on oneside with rotated trans mounts. that puts all the stress on your upper trans mount! and that will become the only available flex point. the mount system is dual axis system do not half ass the upper axis. in other words until a solution is available for an upper trans mount don't touch the upper engine mount.

ok good. saves me money anyways, i had a feeling that the upper mount was a bad mix with the ottp stg 2 mounts without mounts for the rest of the engine.

would an ingalls stiffy dampner be a good idea with these? just as a little added security to prevent shock to the tranny case?

I don't think they make those for our car...I wish they did though...my buddy's got one on his SS/SC and it did wonders.

ottp stg 2 are awesome. With them in the car I have absolutely no wheel hop (unless I hit a bump lol). Tires just spin now.

Clarification:

We have only verified the Ingalls fits when you have a Hahn intake. We have also verified the Ingalls does not fit with the stock air box.

The Ingalls may fit with other brand intakes, they just have never been verified by us.

Hope this helps everyone out.
