P0106 code question.
P0106 code question.
So I searched on the forum for this and couldnt find a specific answer. Car has thrown a p0106 code the last 2 days after not having any issues since I replaced my pcm. I know I have some oil circulating through my factory charge pipes and such so I'm sure it's just some oil on the MAPs. But out of curiosity can hot humid weather cause this light to set? Haven't had any issues but this week it's been very hot and humid and raining where I live and I just have a feeling the drastic change in weather may have helped throw this light on. I know turbo cars dont really care for hot weather lol. Thanks for any help!
Replace upper MAP sensor. Make sure the correct O-ring on it.
Last but not least, check the wiring to the upper MAP sensor. Mine had an issue where the harness connector could be pushed in a click and the code would go away.

It's possible that rain could have something to do with it if you are getting water into your MAP sensor connector. If you have access to a scan tool take a look at live data readings from the MAP sensor at idle and then under various driving conditions see if it is reading as expected or not. Does the stock boost gauge utilize the MAP sensor? If so you may be able to watch it and see if it is doing anything wonky.
