Picking up the GMS1 today from the dealer... Anything I should know or watch out for? The dealer will be doing the install soon, within the next 7k miles. I will have them do the plugs, oil change, and air filter at the same time since they are supposed to be replaced at 40k anyway.
Within the next 7K miles? That's like a year and a half of driving for me!
Just make sure they apply the tune, they forgot on mine.
Maybe ask for your old parts to otherwise they'll probably just sell them to someone else.

haha I drive like 30k a year, it seems like I change the oil every month and I wait for every 5k miles haha. Well I say that now, but once I have it in hand, I will probably make an appt while Im there and just say screw it, do all of those things now.
For the GMS1 make sure that they solder the leads together. If they use the butt connectors with the kit you might have some problems down the road.
Also, make sure they know that your car takes synthetic oil. Mine did not realize that until I pointed it out to them. They gave me 3 free oil changes free since I bought the car there, and they thought it was a base Cobalt due to the 4 doors. I now do my own changes.
The plugs are easy to change, and I bet they will take you for a good ride for just 4 and the install. About a half hour of your time to change them and inspect the old ones. You can get a K and N drop in cheaper than the OEM paper filter too.
Just me, I am cheap lately.

Agreed.. the novelty went away after a week. When I was leaving the dealer after getting the broken lip on the front and the scratches fixed (caused by them) I was driving and went to put my foot into it like I normally would in second and was surprised when I hit 23PSI, felt like a rocket compared to stock.
