I kept one step colder NGK 3787's gapped at .031 even on 47% E & 50% Meth, color was good, if a bit on the light (hot) side but if I wasn't flogging it, I was still doing 70 on the expressway 95% of the time.
Rock Auto, NGK Direct, even Amazon carries them at times.
BTW...you ever get a logging config? I PM'd you but you never responded.

Technically, you should be running stock plugs since the WI will reduce the combustion temps. If you run the colder plugs, you may never have them up to the right temp. The fact that they would normally foul is probably a bit hidden by the cleaning effect of the WI.
Stock plugs.. Just stick with them, there is nothing to gain except headaches switching from them. We've even run them on bigger turbo cars without issue. I really would stay with them personally!
I vaporized a stock Delco #2 plug with lots of timing (26*) on 60% ethanol with around 5k miles on the plugs, after that I was leery. Prob too much boost + timing in the midrange though.
To each their own.
To each their own.
Ive been running the two step colder NGks cant remember the number on them but have run up to 26* for a couple months. i didnt really notice any more power or difference so i backed it back down but i had no problems with that high of timing.

Ill check out my stockers make sure they are good
Spec is .030-.035- I like .031 You probably got the NGK LTR6IX-11 one step colder plugs kinda a pain to gap down. The 3787's I think are gapped close to .031 outta the box I think if I remember right.

Where do u guys get these 3787s from? I've looked around the city here and most guys at parts stores give me a look like im from another planet. I did manage to find some autolite xp iridiums last year, but I think they were factory heat range. Currently runnin Delco 41-108's which I'm about to regap to see if my problem goes away. I think 1 step colder might help me honestly, since it only seems to knock once up to operating temperatures.
NGK 3787's are from Rock Auto, NGK online or even Amazon.com. Ran them the most of my tuned 60k miles. Some like them, some don't.
NGK 5476 are the same stock heat range plug, but I think better quality than the Delco's, even though the Delco's have a 5476 stamped on the boss.
