PLX Kiwi?
I know that it has been around for a while, but has anybody here tried one of these PLX devices with their Droid or iPhone? You also have to have an app on your phone to interface with the OBDii wireless connections. They look like they could be as useful as an interceptor gauge, but have a more user friendly interface. Check them out:
PLX Kiwi - Kiwi Wifi, Kiwi Bluetooth, Kiwi MPG, Kiwi Drive Green OBD 2 Devices
I have read on other car forums that these things are pretty neat. Let me know if anybody has tried it on their SSTC?

haven't had it in a cobalt, if you have the interceptor then you wont need this. it works good though my buddy has it in his evo, you can hook gauges up to it, clear codes and what not, pretty useful for getting into an accident while looking at your phone i guess.

While I was going to get an interceptor, but found this too.
I have it. It works really well. Although every once in a while it will hang for just a split second and then continue tansmitting data.
I use it with an App called REV and another one called FUZZYcar which was free. The FUZZYcar one doesn't have a very friendly interface but displays a lot of the same information without the "track" stuff.
I use it mostly to look up codes in vehicles I work on. It's also quick for me to plug into the Cobalt and see everything I need like pending codes, code descriptions and even my OBD 2 readiness.
:EDIT:: To specify, I have the WiFi one and use it with my iPhone.

I just bought one of these
ELM327 OBD2 OBDII V1.4 Bluetooth Diagnostic Interface | eBay
and use the free app "torque" on the android market. There's also a pay version of it that's around $5.

As for PLX WIKI, I seen it at SEMA last year, the rep gave me the 30 day trial version came with: Torque, alOBD ScanGenPro, OBDroid, VoyagerDash, but not the PLX Data Logger 3.0 for PC, all of the programs worked great with the Bluetooth dongle but I really didn't want to buy it [$89 reseller price] sent it back for a refund, but I decided to stick with Torque, can't beat FREE..
Cool... I wasn't sure how the things like speed, 1/4 times, 0-60 times, etc were calculated. I was told that (at least using the Droid), that the phone's GPS is activated... not sure if that has anything to do with the calculations. I'll have to try my buddy's OBDII plug-in with my iPad and see if it works!
