Ported LNF Intake and Throttle Body
Ported LNF Intake and Throttle Body
I ported my spare Cobalt SS TC intake and Throttle Body. Notice I didnt remove any material from the speed bump area of the intake. Also ported throttle body and installed a knife edged blade with countersunk flathead screws w Locktite. Also portmatched the head. I used the new LNF intake gasket as a template.

Also made the intake pretty. This was done with a couple light coats of yellow Rustoleum which sticks to anything ,2 coats of clear Plasti Dip and a light coat of VHT HI temp clear. Pretty HUH ?

Yea, I cant prove it made power or didn't so I let it die. I should do a better comparrison one day so we all know.
You need to do a lil more on the TB. You want to "funnel" shape the very top to almost make it like a velocity stack at the opening and I would def stay away from the blade area plus a couple inches, Oscar went crazy on his and the car didn't run for **** after.
Im still going to finish my lil fixture that will allow me to mill the rod thinner like I do on the WRX ones:

Looking good tho, like that you're playing with ideas
