Problems

So, as some of you know, I was having a hard time at the track last week to get my car at the times it should be running. One of the problems I was having is that when shifting into 2nd gear, it would bog down to almost no power, then slowly creep back up, then 3rd wasnt very quick until i got into 4th and it climbs very quickly.
Thought I would try it on the street today, and it does the same thing. Then I go on the interstate, and dont feel much of a difference from 2nd to 3rd, then 4th gear kicks in and its like a totally differnt car and pulled to 130 from 105 very fast.
In town, it has some surging when letting off the gas driving at slow normal speeds...
I am obviously concerned, so what are your thoughts?

After i got tuned, on my way home it blew off the zzp charge pipe. So we reinstalled it, and the car had some idling issues for a few days, then it seemed to go away, but now my car feels slower than it initially did when i first got tuned.
It still seems to hold boost, but the power just doesnt seem to be there...

Did you have ESC off at the track? Too bad you don't have HPTuners bc you could just send a log to Term...

SO THE BURNING SMELL COMING FROM THE CAR WAS CRAZY.
I JUST DROVE IT AGAIN, AND IT WAS SLIPPING IN 2ND AND 3RD...
IT IS IDLING CRAZY AGAIN LIKE IT WAS WHEN IT FIRST BLEW THE PIPING OFF TOO..
I THINK I HAVE TWO PROBLEMS AT ONE TIME
DEF. THINK CLUTCH IS SHOT, AND THERE IS A SENSOR OR FUEL PROBLEM OR SOMETHING AS WELL...

Car has loss of power in 1st-3rd gear, idles at 800, then goes up/down, 2nd and 3rd gear feel like its slipping(no wheel spin, but used to burn the tires off when i first got tuned!!!)

Its bad enough that the clutch is probably done, but i wonder what the damn rough idling is from?

so ky stage 3 clutch and about 8 hours of labor, is what, like $1200?...

Your rough idle is likely caused by a boost/vac leak. When one pipe comes off, there is a chance that something else came loose. It's the first check you should make with a turbo car when idle gets rough.

Oh hell, Aaron, I just realized from another thread that you have the stock IC. You're living on borrowed time with that thing if you're running 25 psi in the winter.

yeah, $1500 is gonna take me forever to save up, plus i need to replace my intercooler too, so basically i need about $2k just for the obvious stuff, not to mention i havent been able to see why im still having power/idling problems...

My car is in like showroom condition, and now its just flippin falling apart all in 100 miles of driving after 40k miles on the car...

Here do this. Your clutch is shot ok....have term ramp your boost slower and less boost....... This will let you have a lil more midrange timing. Also ..boost leak test and figure if there is one.usually if its a large enough leak you will throw a p0101 and other random codes.......

You could of just glazed the clutch real bad so drive it around shifting above 3500 rpms not pounding on it for a few days. Check for boost leaks..

Yeah, i know guys. Im just frustrated. I love this car, but seriously dont have the cash to continue to dump random $2k on it, especially when i only paid $13k for it last year...
I am not throwing any codes, but there is something wrong with the power and idling when stopped, so hopefully i didnt blow something..i may end up doing a compression test if i cant find a boost leak...

Take some video. I bet it's a boost leak too. Get underneath and check the end tanks for cracks.

I will. I just dont think its a boost leak when my car boosts hard and quickly up to 25psi and holds it, but i guess anything is possible
