Cool Project Time (input needed)

I just recently got a large sum of money...so I'm gonna put some love into my car.

1) Intake: K&N SRI. I'm not liking my Hahn CAI too much.
2) Header: What header do you all recommend?
3) Exhaust: I already did the 'muffler delete' but am looking for the most aggressive sound. I'm used to muscle cars lol. Down-pipe. I'm thinking cat-less (straight pipe). Yeah emissions require a cat, but I work at a wrecking yard and get certain plates with certain year tags on them. So yeah
4) Do I carbon fiber part of my high-rise, or go with a carbon fiber trunk? I have a yellow ss with a body armor carbon fiber hood.
5) Head lights: What ya all think?
6) Last but not least. . .lower? if so, how?

I'm just looking of some input.
Thank you all!

For performance, go for this: K&N intake over the Hahn, Cat-less downpipe (I have ZZP but numerous good ones out there), and a tune (either Trifecta or HPT depending on your location/needs)

The aesthetic mods like headlights, trunks/hoods/spoilers etc is all a matter of what looks good to you. As far as suspension goes, Eibach springs have a decent drop that looks way better than stock, I have them. H&R springs seem to be the lowest but some people run into problems with exhaust rubbing and such, depends on how low you want to go.

There are tons of choices out there for sure for just about any modification. The above parts are just all my opinion on what I wanted and what has worked for me. Check out all the stickies and search some threads for further info as well.

Turbo'd cars cant have a header, MPX exhaust, coil-overs if you want to slam it, SSC or pedder if you want springs depending on if you want looks or performance, I'd vote CF trunk over CF highrise, especially if you lowered it

Intake, catless downpipe, and aggressive tune.

Pretty dumb to waste money on lights and other pointless bs. IMO

As I have heard other people say in the past, first figure out what you wanna gain out of your car. So start their IMO. If you're looking for headlights, K2Motor has pretty good prices for the 1st and 2nd gen headlights.

Can't make any recommendations for performance stuff, since I haven't had any money for that end yet.

Hope that helps.

I was listening to some vids on youtube and its definitely sounding like ZZP Cat-less with 3'' all the way is the way to go. My main thing is throwing a code though. I'm not wanting to if I can avoid it.
One of the other things I'll be getting is the warranty upgraded to 100,000 miles bumper-bumper. I used to work at the car dealership and can get it at a good price.
K&N SRI is already a def.
Still gotta look at some pics of headlights, see what I'm gonna drop on, and if I'm gonna join the mass world of low and wingless.
I dunno about wheels though. I've always kinda liked the SS TC wheels.

I threw a code with my cat-less downpipe. Just go to checker/Autozone and get a pack of spark plug non-foulers (they come in two's). Drill out the center hole on one of them a little larger than it comes with so that the 02 sensor will fit (I think I drilled mine to 5/8in, don't remember). Screw the 02 sensor into the drilled out one then that one into the second non-fouler. Then screw the whole assembly into the downpipe and call it done.

It worked for me and has for the last 10,000ish miles.

The 02 on my Megan Racing DP is angled but it still threw a code so I just figure I would extend it a little lol

I'm thinking that with just some simple 3" custom work by a shop out here.

That isn't really for me. If anything. I might run dual out the back with a y-pipe or something, but I doubt it.

Id of course get it with the 02 bung, do it bolt-in, don't think I'll need an extra bung
but
will those front and rear gaskets bolt right up to the other part of the exhaust?
