Proper BOV Connection

I'm already prepared to be flamed and hear "use search" but I'm going to ask anyway. Yes I'm getting tuned.

I have an HKS SSQV on an Injen CP. It is connected near where the stock BPV connects to the manifold but it is not the exact same spot. If I use a BPV block plate do I just need to run the stock line that went from the BPV to the BOV? Or do I need another vacuum connection from somewhere else?

If you eliminate the stock BPV, then yes, you can use that vac line to run the new BOV. Thats exactly what I did.

how much did it cost you to get a BOV Flange welded to your Injen?

Thanks frog. Any issues with your setup?

Leemanfor, bought the car with it already welded on. All I know is a local shop did it.

Depends where you go but you can expect to pay between $0-$50. Try to find a local blue collar type shop. The type of place a guy named, Bill or Jim works at. Those places are gonna have the experience and not be too pricey. Its kinda funny but its so true. Go to a big name place and you'll get raped.

zapstraps and heater hose ftw. stock bov keeps the already cluttered engine bay looking cleaner, imo just get the forge vented dv

Yes it is but that has nothing to do with the line you are going to use to run the bov.

It's the same line either way.
