so today i was with my buddy and he is prity knowledgable with cars and he told me if i pull this fuse (for the emissions) i should get 10hp. i was like w/e lets try it and see. so i went and took like 3 pulls and everything was normal and the ground was wet so i couldnt even tell u if it did anything. i didnt blow a code till on my way home and i just threw the fuse in then it reset but i just think its kinda comical.

 

If it were possible to gain 10 hp by simply removing a fuse, that would be the first mod EVERYBODY would do.

probably the A/C fuse, lol. prevents you from using your A/C thus you get the extra 10hp.

 

You brought up an interesting point actually. I dont believe the AC compressor cuts at WOT on this car. It does on most cars but I have not noticed it on this car.

 

if you have a habit of leaving the AC on

 

all the time. Its hot out!

I heard that if you **** on the hood you get 10hp at the wheels....

 

I dont see it in the system information. I know the LS series cars have it cut at 95% throttle.

Just make sure you pull all the fuses for maximum HP gain and some extra weight reduction.

 

Guys... it should be obvious by now what fuse it was. It was the learn down fuse.

 

No way. I have been doing that everyday since I bought the damn car, and I havent noticed ****...well maybe I have.

 

It might have been the exhaust fuse. Me and a friend were checking out the fuses one night since I just got the car and I was just checking **** out. We found a fuse that said EXH or something like that. I took it out and noticed a little more popping in the exhaust but that's about it. I had a check engine light at the time from putting hot side intercooler piping on wrong. After I fixed the piping I had a friend scan it with his computer he gave me the codes the piping put out and it also gave him o2 codes which I'm guessing is from the exhaust.

i pulled the fuse for the muffler bearings and seriously picked up like 50whp
