Dude that piece of metal should never have been in the intake in the first place. I would be pretty angry at Hahn if I were in your position. It sounds like they did not remove a piece of excess steel after they drilled the hole for the valve cover vent. That is what you said correct?

Btf charges 850 to install the bigger wheel on a working turbo, since your turbo is damaged it'll probably cost you more depending on what damage he finds there. Since the wheel is chewed up im sure it did some damage to the compressor housing, if its severe the shaft could of moved up and so much that the turbine wheel could be shot too and the turbine housing could be damaged too.

Im sure btf has a couple stock wheels too, you can probably opt for that too since it would be a bit cheaper than the bigger wheel, either way your turbo needs to be taken apart and every damaged part needs to be replaced.

Yes but by looking at the damn wheel u can tell it was chewed up by some metal and the intake is the thing attached to the turbo so its damn obvious it came from the intake, i would deffinately be talkin to hahn

if something passed through the inlet of the turbo then most like the aluminum housing has some fucked ass marks in it to. best to upgrade wheel and hope the marks if any on the housing can be machined out in the process of boring for the new wheel.
