i have a 3in cat back clear image exhust i want it louder but cat affored a high flow down pipe who much louder would it be with a resinator delete?

 

Not much louder at all. Cut the muffler off if you want loud. Then later down the road get a off road downpipe. It will be loud as hell. But always remember loud does not mean it will sound good.

you gotta check your local laws. i've never heard of laws against having no muffler at all. i know in a few states its illegal to remove the cat but thats about it.

 

Remember neon srt-4s? They were made from the factory without mufflers. I'm sure they were sold in every state.

 

it still won't be loud... if you cut off the resi off all it's gonna do is make it raspy!

 

Zip tie the wastegate open or get the downpipe. The only two things that will really make it louder

 

It's illegal period to remove a cat in this country. Muffler delete will make your car sound good. I had my car parked next to my uncles 66 GTO with headers. On a start up my balt was louder until it kicked down and went almost silent. Here's a vid of Nal's 09 SS with the muffler delete.

Not a true statement.... Maybe on the ss sc. I have catted CIA dp an the CIA catback with red delete and in no way does mine sound like rice.... It's very deep.
