Just a puff? It's normal. A stream of black smoke? Take it to the dealer. Your engine runs on Air/Fuel ratios unlike 99% of the cars on the road today and a little puff is OK. You'll also find a little black residue at the exhaust outlet. Perfectly normal. Enjoy the car

It's direct injected, like a diesel, so it smokes a bit. No worries.

your good don't worry about it. lol, white smoke with a sweet smell is antifreeze in your fuel (one way or the other), black (your running rich, alot of possible culprits) gray, (idk normal?). If your car runs good I wouldn't worry about it. but, reading the above it sounds fairly normal.

a little black smoke is ok.....

white smoke - usually means antifreeze(if you can smell it) or condensation from it being cold. or if theres water pissing out of it along with white smoke thats not a good sign either.

whitish/blueish smoke - burning oil
