question about power gains (ss/tc)

i currently have an 08 ss/tc and by the time i'm driving it again i will have a K&N drop in, upper IC pipes, prob ZZP FMIC, and a catless DP. (already have the catless dp, and drop in)

i will be getting retuned once that is all on (i'm on trifecta right now and will prob go with an hp tune instead of getting my trifecta updated)

would it be worth it for me to get an electric cutout? how hard is it to do a meth kit? is a meth kit worth it? i have stock catback because i love the sound, but i was looking at the cutout mainly for a few more hp for the track/roll racing, same with the meth kit any input on either of these, or if you just want to chime in on the IC or piping, would be cool

edit ** i am on stock clutch, might upgrade it but i have no idea what to lol

Everything on the first paragraph is all you really need.

No need for meth or cutout unless making bigger power on bigger turbo. Just have a quality hp tuner tune you for 23-24 lbs and you will be happy.

Meth can add 20-30whp on top of what I see on 93 and it does clean the intake valves nicely. The cutout though only worth it if you like the sound it will not add any power on stock turbo vs the stock catback.

Is it difficult to set up? about how much does it run for all of it?

Not very difficult. I believe the kits run around $300-400.

sweet, i'm going to try and pick up the fmic, ic pipes, and meth kit on black friday since i have another 4 months til i will be driving it anyway, also going to pick up an upgraded sping for the bpv just incase

I have a new meth kit with a bung welded into the lower cp if you're interested. I'll get you pics and what not if you want. I was gonna run it but my cars already a monster and runs good but continuously breaks trans. Ask Term. Lol.

Was just looking at ZZP's website, and saw this

AEM - AEM Water/Methanol Injection Kit #30-3300

they also have one specific for the ss/sc, i dunno which you have

i am interested actually, how much were you thinking? i figure since i'm doing the fmic and upper, might as well do the lower right lol

I'll have too look back at how much I paid for everything. I might eating shipping and a couple bucks just to get it out of the house. Its a devils own dvc-30 kit with a 2.5 gallon tank and a lower cp welded for the nozzles.

If ur doing meth and tuning for it, get a failsafe device with it or u may boom ur motor
