Question to computer tuners

What are the differences in tuning a DI motor and port-injected motor? Are the fuel maps just as easy to modify? What about ignition timing, is this messed with? Seems that a turbo DI motor with infinitely var. cam phasing would be more complex(though Ive no idea) The tune offered by Trifecta is well liked, what about the PPC tuner? does it really make less power? this company (BSR) has had alot of experience with turbo DI motors in VW/Audi the 2.0T

Not really different. Once HP tuners gives us access to the fuel pressure tables we will be able to adjust the max pressure so it will be like adding larger injectors without doing so. Ignition timing changes help only if you have 93 octane in the tank. Cam angles can be changed but no one has really figured them out yet. Some have shown decent torque gains in the midrange only to fall on its face up top. PPC tuned cars seem to make only 275 whp STD tune only. Approx 265 whp SAE. Trifecta has managed 287 whp STD. tune only. Approx 275 whp SAE.. I made 307 whp STD. tune only. 294 whp SAE. There is more power there too.
