HOWEVER, if you do insist on not listening and going Catless on an LSJ car, I HIGHLY RECOMMEND you use some sort of silencer in the exhaust to combat rasp.
700hp factory cars have cats because they're required by law, quite a dumb statement. Have you seen the power gains from removing the cats? You might want to find out before you run your mouth.

Just for the sake of the argument, while I have no dyno sheets to prove anything... I noticed zero difference other than sound and smell when I switched from my ZZP catted to my ZZP catless. While I enjoy the sound it smells awful. Don't know if the ethanol is partly to blame but it's pretty bad

And to get back on topic, I haven't had to turn any codes off with the catless/angled bung. I had the angled bung on my ZZP catted and I would actually throw post cat lean codes (p2096) every so often.

Exactly. The stock DP is "restrictive" with two cats, but even then it's only a couple of HP you're going to gain. If you think it's worth it to have a technically illegal car that smells like ass and sounds like a beehive then you're a ricer.

Little fyi, even a hi flow is technically illegal.

Also LNFs don't sound like LSJs when you remove the cat

It sounds really nice with just the catless dp and stock "cat"back. I'm sure on lsj's it gets very raspy. Turbos act as a muffler in some sense

I have a Catless with the angled bung from zzp and throw a cat code now.. overall I'm very pleased, but if you're tuning then don't spend the extra mone. I tuned my 02 sensor out, so no more code. Wish I would've known before the extra 40 bucks or what not haha

The 2nd cat is restrictive, & should be 'cored', or replaced with a high-flow,high-volume cat.
The 1st cat is fine, & helps low-speed response, & doesn't hurt top-end power.

My last time at the track, I ran 12.3s all day, with a HHR SS automatic, at 1,200'.
I've tested many DP setups, at the track, & the stock DP, with a 'cored' 2nd cat, works best,
with a stock K04 turbo.

I'm also running the stock intercooler, & hot/cold pipes.

Yeah same here and mines been on my car for 1000 miles and it just threw the code. Oh well, they can't all work I guess. It says MAY prevent an engine code.
