Questions - Ready to purchase some mods, but questions with current setup...
I have several questions about the combo of some mods I'm ready to purchase, but want to make sure everything works well together. Open to any suggestions on this.
To start off, I currently have the HAHN PPC tune, and an injen intake.
First thing I'm looking at getting is the Turbo XS catless downpipe and exhaust. (Ordering this afternoon unless something from this post changes my mind).
Second, and here is where the questions start...I'm looking at the Treadstone Intercooler Kit with either the T8 or T10, with the turbosmart BOV, and the Treadstone intake (so all the piping matches).
With the HAHN PPC tune that I currently have...
#1 I'm assuming i'm not going to notice any power difference what so ever?
#2 With this tune, is the BOV and blocked off BPV going to be an issue and freak out the MAF?
#3 I was trying to do a search for this (didn't find much), I know the MAF can be relocated, not sure if that's a solution to #2 or what exactly that accomplishes...
#4 If i were to switch tunes, I was looking at just going for the Trifecta. Would this be a viable solution for everything? Any suggestions on tunes for this type of setup?
These are really the only power mods i'm going for a while...I would consider eventually going for new turbo kit, but the most likely 2 years or more out. With that in mind, is there anything else I should be considering? The car is daily driven, 25 mins each way to work everyday, plus all the other running around I do. I want power, but nothing crazy since I do want a decent amount of reliability.
Thanks in advance for all the input!!!

Yeah, when i ordered the hahn ppc it seemed to be the popular thing at the time, there wasn't as much info on hptuners or trifecta at the time.
It's hard to really get solid info on the different tunes. What's the main advantage of the HPTuners over the trifecta? I'm assuming i would need to find a shop that knows how to work with them?
Main reason i was looking at the trifecta was because i'm not sure i have a local shop able to work with HPtuners. It seems more simple for me to be able to list the mods out for trifecta and have build a tune that way. I'm sure it's not as exact as what could be done with the HPtuners...but it might be my only option?

You're going to freak out the MAF when it's relocated without a tune. You need a custom tune for that. There is ZERO benefit for a BOV on this car with a factory turbo. If you want to spend the money for the sound, be my guest. A K&N SRI does a lot as is and add a Forge BPV for longevity and a little more "umph" in sound.
Best combo is intake, dp and a custom personal tune. Charge Pipes are good insurance and might help with spool time and flow and an intercooler is great for when you've upped the boost and is insurance as well from cracking stock plastic end tanks.
These are just my personal opinions.

My thoughts on the BOV basically came from the fact that i'll admit a I am a tad partial to the sound, but if I get the charge piping and intercooler...I might as well go all the way and get the BOV as well.
The idea of running higher boost on the factory BPV just seems nerve wracking to me, maybe it shouldn't since I have no clue what they are able to handle...but common sense made me think it wasn't smart.
If i do go with the BOV, is relocating the MAF even necessary?? Or will a tune fix this?
