Quick question

So I just bought my 2010 Cobalt SS two weeks ago. I ordered the K&N intake and zzp cat less downpipe. I'm going to get tuned next, but from what I've read I need the GM Stage 1 sensors. Are these all I need and do they just plug right in? GM ACDelco - GM Stage 1 Sensors #

Yes those are plug and play but it won't run right (if at all, not sure on that though) until it's got a tune for those new sensors.

Yeah I won't be installing the downpipe or sensors till I'm ready to be tuned. So can I just order a tune from Trifecta like I did with my other cobalts and they send the black box and just plug it in and flash and send the box back? Or do I need to get some cord and use a laptop like I've heard.

I'm going to be doing Trifecta for the tune. So your sure I don't need the new sensors with Trifecta? If it's better to just have the new sensors I will just buy them. I was thinking about running e85 since I live in Minnesota and there a ton of gas stations with it. What do I need besides a tune to run it and is it safe to run long term or can running it cause issues down the road?

It's up to you. If you want to be as safe as possible and don't mind spending the money, then ya get the 3 bars. But many people run the stock sensors fine with a tune.

Ok, I just ordered the Injen charge pipe also. I think I'm just going to buy the sensors to be safe or ready for if I decide to get a bigger turbo. Can I put on the intake, cat less downpipe before getting tuned or will the car run funny? And is a tune the only thing I need to run e85? Appreciate the responses

you can put the intake on but i would get a tune shortly after just to make sure long term fuel trims are in check, your catless dp will most likely throw a check engine light after a while before you get tuned

Ok thanks bro, that's probably what I'll do till I get tuned. So does anyone know about running e85 on the lnf? I know the lsj needed 80lb injectors to run it just not sure if I need anything other then a tune to run it? And do people run into issues running e85 over 93 octane?
