I don't know if it is or not, but I know many people who do. And well one of my friend's has a supercharged Chrysler 300 SRT-8, and that thing is terrible on E85.

oh geesh you guys know what I mean, I put the can on the ground put a little in it, take the nozzle from the little can and put some in the tube. The can doesnt stay full or anything, just gives you a place to get the gas from the nozzle to the tube. Bring the tube with cap on filled to the water line for measuring e85 and you get the ethanol content? Its a pain but I dont want to spend 300 bucks on an electronic one.

I wish I had 100/E85 around me. Then again I'm just happy I have access to 93. I see a lot of people saying they can only get 91.

What does Customs and Border Patrol have to do with gas? LOL There is giant warning sticker on the pump that says CAUTION fill the gas cans on the ground only. Static electricity can cause a spark, people are stupid if they fill it any other way. I take care of a 2 acre lot, I take gas cans to the pump all the time.

I have only filled up a few times since I just got my motor broke in. I am going to start keeping a log. But its been 70-85 percent straight from the pump. You can also talk to the gas station owner and see if they will let you know how they get the blend.

nothing, if you tune for it then can you take advantage of that lower detonation. With a hundred you can turn up the timing, turn up the boost controller but only to the next point of detonation or the onset of KR.

Made this for you guys since you're retard. :P

So I have been running E85 and there is a lot of talk about how the stuff differs from station to stations. So since I top the tank off about once a week, I want to make sure m car is getting the fuel its tuned for. Running the stock fuel system and 80lb injectors to over 400whp can run your system static if the ethanol content is tuned for say winter mix E70 and then in the summer running E85 your injectors will require more fuel and could go static at your top end boost controller setting.

So I have found a way to check your e85 safely and quickly.

First buy a small 1 gallon gas can. Cheap and is sold everywhere. And second buy the well made GLASS (be careful not to drop it) quick fuel E85 tester. I got mine at a reputable seller on eBay for 18 bucks.

Next set up the test.

Buy some gas, top your tank off and put a smidgen in the can (.1 gallons). Your car should be on Empty when you fill to get the most accurate tank of gas. Otherwise you are testing only part of the fuel you are putting in the tank. It will then mix with whatever you have already in the tank and it would be pointless to only test what you are putting in the car.

I have a smidgen of E in this can.

Fill the quick fuel tester to the bottom line with water. I used filtered fridge water just cause, use tap for all it cares.

I used a plastic cap off a new spray paint can and poured fuel from my gas can to the cap and from the cap to the quick lube tube. This is literally the result after about 60 seconds. It was showing up almost instantly! Water mixes with ethanol but water DOES NOT mix with petrol or gasoline since its an oil derivative. At least that is my assessment. But it works.

You can see the results my gas is exactly what I am tuned for E85. In the winter it will show more in the E70 range. SO be careful to move your stoich in HP Tuners accordingly in your tune during the winter season.

Worry free max boost cause I know whats in the tank. Pure liquid enjoyment.

While I was at it I threw this custom sticker I had made on my tank lid.

I LOVE CORN!
That is all.

I measure every time I get e85. Have seen 70-~92% from the pump I use. I fill the car up, and then fill three 5 gallon cans while there.

Why the extra 15 gallons?

The station is about 25 minutes out of the way so I get an extra fill here at home before needing to go again. There is only two stations within 30 minutes from me and there both 5 minutes from each other. And its easier to tune for the the same E content over a longer time. I am constantly adjusting fuel trims and what not.

how much adjusting is there that you do, I changed my stoich from 10.20(winter) to 9.8(full e85) commanded. Noting else needed attention after a few scans.

You can give it more boost and what not with more E in the fuel before it starts to knock any. And the trims are just something I will always adjust if I get time, as it gets hotter or colder out.
