Random loss of boost, restart cures it.
Second time this has happened, both similar in scenarios, cruise control set to 80 cruising down the highway and I feel it happen. Just a slight drop in RPM's I imagine, but something tells me.
I put a load on the engine, won't go into boost, RPM's will climb, no CEL, runs fine, just literally says to hell with me.
Both times I've shut the damn thing off, started it up, and it's been fine.
Anyone?

46k on it, and with my intake location I don't find that possible either.
I do have a code reader, though I doubt it'll pull anything without a physical CEL, I'd have to borrow the one at work for that.

The thought of this being a bypass valve issue made my Dejon spring cross my mind.
Found some bashing of the spring after I had ordered it, but for the ease I installed anyhow and never had any of the issues people listed. Nice, crisp hold of 22psi but now I'm wondering if that's a possibility here.
I've been meaning to buy a Forge, but haven't made such a priority.
Thoughts on this being a Dejon spring/BPV issue? I'll fully admit guilt there.

5lbs limit is a limp mode. Make sure you check your overboost protection, if the car hits the limit it will limp the car until it's restarted. Had an issue with it on one of the lnf's I tuned, turned up the upper boost limit and fixed the problem.
What kind of map sensors do you have?

Still on stock sensors, tried finding solutions to not hack my factory wiring, sold my GMS1 sensors, than a week later CED comes out with the pigtails. Go figure, after 3 years.
Made 17 1/4 mile passes today with no issues, hell I've only had this happen 2-3 times cruising on the highway. Retune to come for Spring, with some changes and probably leaving Trifecta so we'll see I suppose.

That sux about the sensors/pigtails; was wondering which you were running as well.
I had a similar low boost episode that would occur every other startup it seemed; I assumed pigtails or dirty sensors. Dealership cleared non-specific misfire codes yet problem reoccured. I cleaned my MAF and (re)installed my Forge bpv which had been removed for a time due to a dealer visit; 1st startup produced lowboost then it righted itself and has been "right" for several months now.

Did you ever fix this? I have the same issue. It losses boost and than pull over restart the car and it comes back again. no check engine light. very random but happening more than often now?
