Random nose over during cruise, hard to boost...

on the way to work this morning the car randomly seemed to nose over while cruising at 60 in 5th... the first time i did it i just figured i was insane and didnt worry about it but then all of a sudden it was willing to make boost again no problem... rollin into the throttle and it would should 8-10 lbs... so i figured it was a glitch... another mile or two down the road it does it again... same thing, no boost and it feels like the car has rescaled the throttle so that full throttle is maybe 1/4...

RPD shows a/f is where it should be, showing zero knock and the fuel pressure seems right. the car is bone stock except for a Forge bpv and a K&N short ram intake. just shy of 28k miles on the car most of which have been from cruising at 45-75...

also, there is no CEL. I'll grab hptuners from my friend this weekend to check the codes for real.

Mine did sorta the same thing awhile back. It ended up being the IAT sensor wire got chafed and were shorting out. My boost became erratic.
Or it could be the MAF as others listed.

MAF is wet. Im having this issue and had to remove the pipes and blast them and the FMIC out with air.

Word... had the same issues... I just waited for a nice warm clear day and cruised the 45 miles to work... it cleared out by the end... I may or may not have been boosting most of the way.

I had the same issue with a faulty MAP sensor. When it happened sometimes the boost gauge on the RPD would show "No data available" but there wouldn't be an SES light.

It would set a P0106 for MAP Performance on occasion.

I put a MAP sensor in it a few months ago and haven't had the problem since.
