Good read might try this this weekend, just disconnect the two hoses, buy some 7/16th hose and connect it. Worst case scenario remove it and reconnect vacuum lines minutes later.

I have had it for 6 years like that. No issue.

Some LNF cars don't even have one so it's safe.

ya its pretty easy. u don't even really need the bpv solenoid u can just bypass that as well. one line from manifold to bpv, remove all others, but leave solenoid plugged in.
