Unhappy RIP Piston.

Soo, finally got the head off and found this.
Do you guys think the block is still good? Do you think all it needs is a new rod/piston and resurface the cylinder area and it's good?

Turn the motor over to assess the cyl. wall. If anything you could get the block sleeved with some mr.b sleeves or mongo maybe. Or even a new gm sleeve. But def. needs pison.

Just buy a new short block from ZZP. You'll end up spending the same in the long run, anyway. Is there a chance you could do this more cheaply? Sure. Is there a great chance? No.
