ok so are the carrillo rods the only one available for the LNF? if not please post up links to the other ones...

Goto the lnfperformance site and btf has 2 sets left at like 450.00 or something. Then get them cryoed and never have to worry about rods again.

you shouldnt even have to worry about the rods...i highly doubt hes ever going to see more then 800hp

Yeah I dont think our rods can handle 800hp thats a little bit out there, but I think that TTR has some rods at a resonable price. check there

I was referring to the k1 rods btf has in the post above mine. They are capable of 800hp. The post said get them cryoed. Unless you plan on making more then 800 you shouldn't have to spend th extra cash.

Also no one knows where zzp bent their rods. They had no noticeable signs and only found they were bent when they did a tear down. Did they bend at 400? More then likely not but there's no for sure facts they bent at 530.

Anyways ttr sells carillo rods. Awesome rods but expensive.

For the 20 dollars it will take to do 4 rods, it's worth it. It not only increases strenth but wear resistance as well.

well if its literally 20 bucks to do it yeah but if upwards of a couple hundred i would say no. i havent looked into cyro yet so i wouldnt know all the much.

One company I was checkin out said 5 per rod and 6 per piston. It was 40 for the crank and 200 for the block

Yes, but the bigger the piece the more shipping as well. It might be 200 to ship the block there and back you know

Fortunately, there is a shop about 10 minutes from my house that does cryo treating. So shipping isn't a problem.

Yes, the process isn't that expensive for smallish parts. It's based on weight.
