RPD VS. Boost Gauge

Is there any difference between a LNF Cobalt with a RPD than a LNF Cobalt with a boost gauge performance wise?

No. And you should make a thread saying I have a lot of questions, rather than making 20 threads

Your missing a lot of other gauges that come with the RPD. And I use the heads up speedo all the time. 1000x easier to see and the needle on the cluster lags a lot. A half second to full second if you compare side by side.

What's good is you can install a stock boost gauge if you have the RPD.

Why would they be different performancewise? They are gauges. One is digital, one is analog over digital. All the do is display data. Why would that make them any different in terms of performance.

I have stock gauge and Aeroforce gauge. I get 40 hp off of that combo alone!

I think because posting without taking a minute to think about it first....

seriously, think about this. what does a gauge do? reads and displays information. no more. no less. how would that make the car different performancewise?

Lol true but I wasn't sure if the RPD did anything special like tuning for example, change red line points or anything crazy like that :P

With the RPD you have a customizable shift light option. So, in theory, you could be faster with the RPD

cut the guy some slack. if it was 2006 and someone asked the same question about the recaro seats being in the ss/sc the answer would have been yes there is a performance gain since it was apart of the g85 package with the limited slip... for all he knew it might have been apart of the same g85 package for the turbo ss
