rpm drop very slowly

rpm drop very slowly

My friens have a cobalt turbo 2010... when he drop the gas the rpm dont drop fast.... it drop veru very slowly... but when the car is in neutral and dont move... no problem all is correct.... what you think the problem is ? Gm have reprogramed the pcm and it didnt change anything....

Sounds normal. Drive by Wire could be the culprit on or cars.

Just how the engine is, post a video of it though to see if it's slower than normal.

I have a turbo me too and mine is very very faster than him.... when he drop the gaz the rpm raise a little bit abd drop very slowly...

Yours is likely faster due to a more aggressive tune than your friends GM stage 1 tune. If not than maybe there is something wrong with his car. In order for me to help more I would need to see a data log of the car as well as a scan for DTCs to check for issues.
