Running meth?

will meth hurt a lnf for a daily driver and is it safe? If you have full bolt ons with 24psi hp tune what would the hp be around?

If you are going to run meth I highly suggest a dual tune. Your nozzle size will be dictated by your tune and subsequent power outputs. There are some advantages to running meth but I suggest that you do not let power output be one of your deciding factors

30 spike is only for Tq but isn't at all reliable on turbo or internals.

Trifecta makes a dual tune. Vince can run it to be active through a couple of user chosen options. The dual tune allows you to activate a more aggressive tune (programmed with meth). This would provide another failsafe. Always keep in mind that meth allows you to stretch the capabilities of your turbo and to some extent internals but running within that particular performance band does have some drawbacks. If you are really looking for power then spend your money on upgrades. If you really are relying on meth to give you a cheaper power increase then you really can't afford to play. I am really not bashing here (although it will be seen that way) - just looking out for your car.... Too many people buy these cars and then do stupid things to them (like boost spiking) thereby destroying the vehicle needlessly. It is a little hard to quantify the power gains I obtained with meth. In my case I upgraded to a KO4+ at the same time since that was what was available. I would venture to say 20-30 whp at most but in my case it was more of a cooling mod than a performance mod. You will also find that in just going after power you will run into other issues as well. Right now I am at the limits of what the clutch can hold interms of torque. There is no point in trying to push a car past its power abilities if you can't put it to the ground. Just a couple of things to factor into your decision. Good luck..... Oh, and if you are going to go this route - make sure you have a bulk supplier......

I run Meth on a day to day basis. I tuned it with HPtuners. I bought the progressive style pump from AEM. Its set to start spraying at 10psi, and be at full spray by 15psi. Its a short window on these cars for that boost range but its perfect like that. It will occasionally turn on and spray a little if I come off a light a little hard but its progressive so it sprays a small amount. Then if I romp on it it starts spraying earlier so by the time I hit my boost spike its at full spray. If you delay it to 15psi Ive noticed in data logs that it isnt hitting the motor and the computer doesnt recognize it for about a whole second into the pull.
