S20G vs GT2871R
S20G is an oil cooled 360 thrust bearing turbo rated for 550hp. It will spool slower than the GT2871R, but it will overpower it up top and only requires oil lines to be run.
GT2871R is a watercooler Ball-bearing turbo rated for 440hp. It will spool faster, but will not be able to reach as much power.
My suggestion is a GT3071R or a Borg Warner S256 extended tip. Both good for 550hp, both will spool faster than the S20G and provide a better top end.

Not gonna say his name, but there is a guy on here, who lives by me, who just got his car delivered to him down here by Hahn yesterday. Had the S20G installed and tuned by Hahn, made 405whp and 411wtq I believe. My Brother rode in it last night and said it would beat this 450whp WS6 rolling around town.
Kinda late now, and why isnt it my place? I know someone with the turbo upgrade and I know his #'s. Hahn should have already had the #'s out.
This is not just my opinion. If you didn't know
I'm not trying to wave my finger at anyone here.....we should just let Hahn release the info with a big write up of what we all need and want to know.
I guess it's not my place to tell you it's not your place. Nonetheless, this info should not be out yet. Not through the guy I've been talking to (the guy we're not naming) for a few MONTHS throughout his build. Hahn usually does take thier time with mods and tuning to make sure everything is just right. Anyone can slap some **** together and hope it works. They don't do that. No one can question thier quality. (The guy we're not naming) maybe should not be telling everyone everything. He told me this morning the #'s were official......BUT it's up to Hahn to release all the info.

not at all to sound all-mighty) My car was the first in the country with Hahns CoolRam intake; the catless DP; charge piping and FMIC. It was all on my car and tuned and put some miles on it before he released any info on it. They have the rights to those products and we had an agreement to only release info and or/#'s and my own personal write-ups with thier permission.

I'd be willing to bet Hahn used their turbo manifold to mount their S20G instead of using the stock one. That is just my thoughts though. As for him spurting out the numbers, it's not a huge deal unless the guy didn't want his **** posted on here. Reguardless, Hahn is not the first to make 400+whp on the LNF with a turbo upgrade. There are many that don't not post that have put the time and effort in on their own.

Yes, as long as we have enough fuel to support it and now now more over boost and underboost issues. We can run 25-28 psi and make 450 whp plus assuming there is enough fuel to support it. S20 is going to be laggy though compared to a 2871. BB turbos are better if you ask me. It would be better to compare a GT3076 to a S20G. In that case I would take the 3076 over the 20G.
