s256et on e85/e47?

Is anyone running this combination? I currently have the stage 3 s256 setup on an ldk. My seals are all good, and already have the upgraded fuel lobe.

Can anyone with any upgraded turbo comment on what is necessary to run E? I don't have personal experience and don't know how much the turbo upgrade will affect what I need as far as injector size, fuel pump, etc.

Also, I don't plan on running much more than 400hp on my stock tranny, so it will be a relatively "mild" tune. So while I appreciate tips on what is the BEST option, I'm also curious as to if I can get by on what I have until the build is finished.

Any input is appreciated.

Well.

Not even passing 400hp will be a mild tune for that turbo on e85 seeing how you can get 450 out of it probably. Might wanna say goodbye to your clutch though if it its stock.

On e85 people are making good numbers on the stock k04.

You're right, and I should have clarified. KY stage 3 6-puck clutch. As far as "completing the build" I was mainly referring to transmission upgrades and possibly rods/pistons. All other bolt-ons and other possible upgrades are done. For now, I was still hoping to get it set up for E85, and just wasn't sure if Opel's, 5th injector, etc. were REQUIRED or not with the s256. I've read several posts on people running E, but am not sure how the s256 effects fuel deman. Until I get my tranny upgraded, I'll probably keep the boost down a little (hence the "mild" plan).

I guess I was mainly asking, how far can I push the turbo/boost and hp on stock injectors and no 5th injector?

Also for comparison, how much more can I push it (as far as fuel demand) if E47 is used?

if you just want 400whp then you wont need to bother with e85. the LDK is a good block but the internals are the same as a LNF and unless its a freak motor like very few have ran into, 400wtq is kinda hit or miss with the rods. mine ran fine on a zfr with about 400/400 before the coolant passage cracked. you should be able to run an e47 blend if you want to deal with mixing it, with just the fuel lobe. doing full e85 you would want the opels, fuel lobe, and possibly 5th injector

you should be fine with e47 since you have the fuel lobe, I was gonna be running e47 and the 6758 on stock head/motor

sounds as if he is talking about injector seals. opels would still be a good buy too though like you said, missed a good price on them during black Friday.
