Shifter Issues

Hello everybody Im new to the site and looking for some help,

I have a '10 cobalt SS and the car will not shift into 5th gear without pulling up the reverse lock out i was wondering if there is a way to adjust the shift linkage to resolve this problem. i would take it in for warranty but the problem with that is i live in Germany and cobalts don't exist here. Right when I got my SS the same thing happend. I warrantied it and they changed the whole shifter knob and bushings.. It could be the bushings.
