Spark advance??

Ok so some days my car will be idling and spark advance will be jumping from 10-21-22 ish.. and when I go to drive off ill tap the gas twice, let the clutch out And pull off, but when I tap the gas, it kinda feels like a dead spot.. and today my at idle the spark advance was in between 15-20. Idle sounded perfect, tap the gas to pull off and it was crisp. Anyone know why?? Its bugging me lol.

Big difference in temperatures between today and yesterday? Fuel trims could be going weird on ya. Which would change airloads and therefore spark advance.

Spark advance is the number of degrees the spark plugs are set to fire before the piston on compression stroke reaches top dead center. Based on the angle of the crankshaft

Yeah it's normal. Also, the joys of of electronic throttle response, or lack thereof.

Mine will bounce 0 to +4* advance at warm idle. Could be the way Nick has the tune.

Yeah I was thinking it was my tune, I have a mild low rpm tune on my car right now not sure if that would have anything to do with it. Im to his house for a clutch install in a week and a retune, ill mention it to him
