Spark Plugs

Anyone use anything other than stock/OEM plugs? Any need to gap them (or the stockers) differently for increase boost applications?

I've always been a fan of the NGK's for my Camaro. Just have to change 'em out more often. Don't know what plug would be a direct replacement for our cars though.

I notice my car idles a little rough from time to time. It's pretty rare, but noticeable when it happens. Thinking the plugs might be the cause. Ideas? Suggestions welcome.

Stock plugs are top of the line NGK iridium plugs. Should be ideal heat range unless you are big turbo with your maps clamped running higher than 23 psi.

I hear nothing but bad things about bosch's. That's why I run NGK's in my LS1. Let me know if you're one of the lucky ones...

Top of the line iridium, yes. NGK, no. They're ACDelco plugs...now on the ss/sc, if you pulled the plugs, they actually said "NGK" on them. Not these, though.

I pulled mine over the weekend to check the gaps, as they were off on my old ss/sc. The 4 plugs had about a .005 range from biggest to smallest - at least on this car they are all .035 on the dot.

They are NGKs with ACDelco printed on them, its on the techincal drawing that they are the supplier.

X2.
They are made by NGK. To the OP your rough idle could be a result of oil leaking into your cam sensor electrical connector. Mine was doing the same thing periodically, but ever since I cleaned all the oil out of the connector I have no rough idle issues anymore.
