Spectre Mass sensor

Im new to the forum and ive been looking around the site for good and cheap intake setups. I saw the factory intake mod, then the AEM coupler for the turbo inlet for the stock air box, then i saw the Spectre GM mass airflow piece. i know the stock air box is the a good and cheap mod, but i was wondering if its a bad idea to do the Spectre kit? Some people saw its good then some saw its bad? whats the bad part about it? thanks for the help and info

The more joints you have, the greater chance of a leak. All the joints create turbulence.

I had the Dejon SRI and AEM CAI on mine, both skew fuel trims quite a bit and even after adjusting for that, it ran less smooth & strong. No dyno though. Lost midrange punch.

We're waiting to see some logs of the ClearImage CAI, I'd hold off a bit and just do the airbox mod for now.

Terminator2 logged a Hahn intake in the past and said the fuel trims were ok.

So right now, Hahn is the only intake that is fairly close to having good trims? What about Injen?

Injen showed a 6% skew in readings. Tofu dyno tested one on hs car. Tuned it lost 10-15 wtrq in the midrange. It did show gains of 10 whp up top but the losses on the graph far outweighed the gains up top.

Can you please provide the area under the curve where the loss is more than the upper? It would be nice to see the Data...
