If all it's doing is in effect 're-scaling' the stock TPS voltage curve, it won't help at WOT. The ECM doesn't have a delay to output full throttle voltage, it just takes time for the motor to fully open the plate in an electronic TB, and the OEM's have just assumed that it is accpetable to be like that. I hate the inherent delay in the drive-by-wire system, but there really isn't much you can do about it.

Well in all honesty you have to ask yourself, is it worth it. In reality lets say youre quarter miling it, this wont help at all, since youre already taching it to launch, and you NLS through your gears, youre on the throttle all the time. I can see this coming in handy on a roll street race, but then again you can easily brake boost, and then youre on the throttle anyways. But if you get into the occassional scenario where some lame as ricer wants to punch it on you, and you feel the need to put him/her in their rightful place, you sometimes forget to throttle it, then this device will be useful. The price tag is steep. I could agree with term on the 100 buck thing, I would spend a 100 bucks just to see how it does, since I have spent more on useless **** for other things before.

You guys are right, this will NOT increase horsepower in any way. Its just a throttle response improvement device.

As much as you guys dont seem to like the idea of the Sprint piece, it will make your car more fun to drive because your cars going to be a lot more peppy.

I havent tried one out on our Cobalt SS Turbo, but would like to.

I had another opportunity to drive my car with the sprint booster installed. This time I was being more aggressive, and I tell you, I really like the throttle response. It feels instantaneous now, compared to the lag of not having the SB installed.

Since the throttle plate is opening quicker or sooner, the boost seems to come on a lot faster too. It's a blast to drive.

On an opposite note, the SB might be a little too quick for those who drive their SS's daily and are caught up in traffic on a regular basis. I have already submitted my comments to my supplier, and they will be looking at tuning the SB, maybe make it a little less aggressive for those who don't like it the way I do.

Put a few more miles with the sprint booster. I have given my comments to my Sprint Booster supplier to tone down how quickly the throttle plate opens. I noticed today that during stop and go driving, it felt like an on/off switch, makes it very hard to drive. They will do as I asked and I'll try it again another day. For now, I have taken it out so that they can reprogram it.

Stay tuned.

its stupid. If you REALLY want a snappier throttle, you can build one of these for a few bucks in radioshack parts

Here's the current version of the sprint booster.

Honestly, I haven't had one in my car since year 1, but they have retuned the program and give you options now.

It is worthless, all this device does it change throttle input %. So if you push the accelerator to 15% throttle, sprinbooster changes it to 30% throttle. Its the exact same thing as pushing the accelerator pedal down harder.
