You have the LSJ engine.

Look in the front of the engine bay. If there is a supercharger there, then you have a 2.0Liter Supercharged LSJ engine. And it's "better" than the 2.4 and 2.2., meaning it put out the most hp of the 3 engines available that year. 205hp, 200lb-ft torque.

 

dont know either thats why i asked you guys . im new to the cobalt ,i know about muscle cars and big block chevys lol (we have a cavalier it's a drag car ) pictures are on the net

ya thanks i have them on cardomain and my space his cavalier does 9.40's in the quarter and i recently sold my other baby (69 pontiac firebird there on my space as well)

 

The LSJ is good, but not as good as the LNF in the 2008-2010 Cobalt SS.
