Exclamation SS Sedan's with MPx Exhaust STEP INSIDE

Got my MPx exhaust in last week and installed it over the weekend. Everything is good and it sounds MINT, except I am a little concerned about how far the tip sticks out. I tried adjusting it everywhere and this is as far back as it goes... Anyone elses look like this???

Yeah, I just can't get anymore adjustment out of it.

My first thought and the one I'm still thinking, is that this is an HHR exhaust and not the Cobalts. The HHR exhaust is longer, right?

If the Sedan had the Lip, it would look perfect. I'm guessing they test fitted on a coupe

Edit: Read your post above. I don't know now. lol

i too have the same issue, i think its the badmab downpipe that might be the culprit. i saw that you have one too. it doesnt bother me that much.

I don't get how the BadMab could be 1"-1 1/2" longer than any other downpipe. That would push the stock exhaust out the same amount...

Maybe more can chime in.

I'm not really upset about it. I was when I first saw it, but I'm over it. I just didn't want to have to chop up such a beautiful exhaust . I mean the welds on this thing are pure ART (and SEX!).

Well, if this is what a lot of you are seeing, I guess I'm just gonna have to modify it to sit flush with the bumper. It's a shame because everything else about the exhaust is beyond perfect. I'm gonna have a shity weld next to these God-like welds lol.

Just fine a good shop man, not one of those chains but a mom and pop joint, and its stainless right? make sure they can weld it then.

Yeah, I'm gonna look at a couple custom exhaust shops. This should be a peice of cake for them. Just take off the axel-back, cut out 1 1/2", weld back together (with it off the car, it should come out perfect) and then reinstall. Should sit nice and flush then.

Just more $$$ though

Even better yet, take the axle back piece to a welding shop and describe what needs to be done. They should be able to TIG weld it and look as good or better than what's already there. Shouldn't cost much either.

Ill buy that exhaust right now for a fair price, like my woman it needs the extra 2 inches

The sedan does have a lip

Or I can make you a bumper that will look better than this one primed and shipped . not cheap
