ss/tc modding

well im getting ready to start to modd out the tc but im pretty new to the whole turbo setups that are possible...i kno im gonna need all bolt on and a tune to see any benfits at all. Which brings me to my question which turbo should i go with a

1.28r like econic's
2.30r
3.35r


im lookin to make it to 400+ hp
and what stage clutch should i go with

28r plus bolton's is enough (assumption because i'm sure the ecotechnic kit is 370 whp.... and that is just the first turbo kit that came out... so i am sure you can add to it...) for 400whp as soon as we get some fueling solutions...... and i would say spec stage 3 + clutch or similar...... i believe in you lol

i was very dissappointed of that kit with just tuning and bolt ons your over 330...

my goals is high 10s go big or go home...plus i gotta keep up wit my friends tsi

Until there's a solution to our fuel limitation the 2871/3076 is about as big as you want to go.
If you want to catch the tsi simply buy one, 1g awd's are cheap as dirt.

yea fueling is aproblem for now but im going to be doing all this over the winter so the parts arent all important and need to be put on right away

and how did you blow ur turbo already lol/!?!?!

I think your goal may be unrealistic with the car.
i guess, if youve got the bread for fully forged internals, new fueling system, stand alone engine management, better LSD, upgraded Transmission, better axles, slicks on wheels, large turbo, FMIC, roll cage. Even then, 10s arent a sure thing. Hell not even all that **** is out yet


Add up all that plus the cobalt, your not spending a whole lot more than a used Heads cam C6 or even better a used Z06

Your friend with the DSM has found the answer to cheap speed. Your speed will be much much much more expensive
