Subaru Mod help!
I have the good ol subaru mod and the car is throwing a P2261. Does this mean bye bye turbo? I have a BNR 2871 so NO BPV so its not stuck open. Im thinking its that but i also read the lash adjusters may do this too but wasnt sure if that would throw a P2261. I dont think its the motor gonna do a compression test today or tomorrow.
What are some other possibilities?
Thanks for the help in advance.

I forgot who it was, but there was a write up about someone's lash adjusters breaking and causing the subie mod... for me it was intermittent and only at wot or sometimes at idle... bad maf sensor.

I've had it twice.. broken valve lash adjusters.. U can go over my posts if you like.. long story short.. Gm fixed it the first time, I think either not correctly or there was more damage than they saw and it re-occurred less than 2 months later. I'm still in the process of getting the car fixed(waiting on head gasket kit) to put a brand new ported head with cams and heavier valve springs on from ZZP.
Generally, this is caused from over-revving the engine, and 6700 would do it, especially with a NLS. I was at the stock rev limit and it went by going into the wrong gear(lower)on the highway one day. Been a headache ever since, so I'm doing it right all the way now. No more warranty for me. Most likely it'll be the exhaust side valve lash adjuster that's fried, and it's possible to have a rocker or 2 laying around in the head too. Good luck getting any Gm mechanic to actually look at it since they think you're smoking crack. Best to take off the valve cover and inspect/repair it yourself. Had nothin but troubles getting Gm mechanics to listen to anything I'd say, except one of course and I thank that man for actually doing as I requested, even though I no longer have a warranty per se. I went to half a dozen dealerships at least.... just a headsup on that. Good luck
