Question Suspected air flow issue - suggestions?

Had these episodes with loss of response at times. Sputtering and have to keep RPM ups to keep the car responsive. Could be going along at highway speeds and this will start. Noticed that when this happens, the boost gauge will not go above 0 psi.

My guess is the crank case vent hose is not sealing, but there is no consistency to when this happens. May be good for a month then it will start up and happen a couple times in a week. Been going on for more than a year. Time to figure out what the issue is and fix it. Seems like if I turn the car off and back on the issue goes away. Have had (only a couple times) when starting it would keep clicking and not turn over for a bit.

Doesn't always throw a code but it has about 4 times in the last 6 months. P0101 ( Mass or Volume Air Flow A Circuit Range/Performance)

Is there a way to seal the crank case vent hose to air intake ? Have twisted this to try and get a better seal when this issue has happened but not sure that is fixing the problem as usually turning off and restarting seems to usually resolve it.

Included image of vent hose and a video of when I caught it acting up in garage (can at least hear what it is doing)

Vent hose (way to seal connection this better ? not sure if this is even the issue)

Video to listen to what was going on one time when it happened while starting the car so I could get to engine compartment and record.

Thanks for any help!

Well the code you get means you have a boost leak. Just look on the how to and find the one for a boost leak and test it you should find it
