does this throw a cel and if not how are they getting it not to are they attaching the o2 sensor differently?

 

They use a short bushing to back the probe away from the gas flow. When I first installed mine, I did not use the bushing, and it gave me a code. I installed the bushing, and no more problems. I really like my car.

 

they use a defouler and no CEL

 

what is a defouler?? sorry never used one or heard of it before.

 

a defouler basically tricks your computer to thinking that the 02 sensor is functioning properly or that its not there one of the 2 i forget which 1

Any parts store. Ask for a spark plug defouler.

The cobalt o2 sensors dont fit in your typical off the shelf spark plug defoulers like the first one list, not sure about the second one. We include our own we make in house with our downpipe, and havent had any complaints about CEL's with the defouler.

 

will you sell just the defouler by itself?
