Synapse Engineering is looking for a TC Cobalt SS for testing

Hi everyone. Synapse Engineering is looking for one 08 or 09 2 dr coupe Cobalt SS for prototyping the intercooler piping, possibly a FMIC kit and other performance items. Ideal candidate should be located in SoCal (San Diego area), and the vehicle should be in stock form. SE engineers will need the vehicle for approximately 3 to 5 days, and the vehicle will return back to original configuration upon project completion. For more details, please contact David at 858-457-1700, or you can e-mail him at david.yu@synapseengineering.com. Thank you for viewing.

In addition, Synapse Engineering is also looking for a Saturn Sky Redline or Solstice GXP for prototyping. Please pass on the information to anyone that has either one of these cars. Thanks.

THeir thread locked.

This is advertising without being a vendor, and if a legit guy like Steve can't even become one then this guy shouldn't be advertising for

FREE.

You guys should really do some research on a company before you call it legit or not. This is a very large company that makes wastegates for the turbo community.

Did anyone click on their website link to see what this company is about? They are VERY known world wide...

As for free advertising, this is a company asking to barrow a car for some R&D work, not to sell products. Nothing against Steve, but I am sure if he posted looking for R&D cars no one would lock any of his posts up either.

Also, I am sure this company will give the test product away to the person who allows them to barrow a car for them to do R&D work on.

Not calling anyone not legit or anything.

I have seen threads closed for less.

And yes I think it is bullshit.

But hey whatever. Gotta be a fortune 500 company to get a vendor status here

Thank you guys for showing interest. We are simply looking for a R&D vehicle so that we can help improve the Cobalt SS community. If we do decide to advertise our products on this forum, we will be sure to contact the administrators for advertising sponsorship.

As for what the candidate will get in return, that will be discussed in details when he/she contacts us. Thanks.

Huge to Synapse Engineering. I have a FPR and their BOV. Top notch products. Great customer service for the most part. Hopefully I get my FPR back this week.

Thank you aDaheSSive for contacting us and volunteering. As of right now we have chosen the candidate (aDaheSSive) for the testing. I will keep the community posted if we need another car for testing. Thank you all for your offering and participation, happy holidays, and god bless you all.
